[Dipper had, in fact, been sulking a little bit. He knew that this kind of influx couldn't possibly be sustainable, but there was a part of him that had hoped. He'd missed Wendy, and having a second him around had been pretty great. And now he can't find Soos anywhere and come to think of it, he hasn't seen Soos since before the giant influx.

And then he gets a text from Wendy.]

What really?! You're still here? How? Where are you? I can help get you oriented. But yeah you just take a room and then you can make it look however you want. We're on the third floor. I can come find you!

WENDY! [He almost can't believe it. Not only did he get to actually see her for the first time in so long, but she's not just gonna up and vanish on him. Not yet, anyway.]

[She gives him a little wave and pushes off the pillar as he approaches. Honestly, it puts her a lot at ease that there's people she already knows here- it makes it a lot easier to keep looking cool and collected. Especially because there's still, like, 1% of a chance this is one of Bill's tricks.]

We haven't trashed him yet, remember? [Dipper shakes his head.] Time works weirdly here. The apocalypse hasn't even started yet for Mabel and me. Ford's right in the middle of it, you're after it, and Stan is, like, right when Ford came through the portal. And... who even knows with Bill. I guess if he was mid-apocalypse he'd probably be gloating more? I dunno.
